TransactionAlso: Advance for fees and taxes
Provisión de fondos
An advance paid to the notary or gestoría to cover taxes and fees.
The provisión de fondos is a sum advanced by the buyer to the notary or the gestoría to cover the transaction's fees and taxes upfront: notary, registry, ITP or IVA and AJD, and administration. A final statement then adjusts any over- or under-payment.
It is not part of the property price but of the additional acquisition costs.
For the seller
This provision concerns the buyer and their acquisition costs; it does not affect the price you receive, which is paid separately at signing.
