TransactionAlso: Exclusive mandate, Sole agency agreement
Exclusividad
A mandate entrusting the sale to a single agency for a set period.
Exclusividad is a mandate by which the seller entrusts the sale of the property to a single agency for a given period. In return, the agency normally commits greater resources: photography, prominent promotion, advertising.
A non-exclusive mandate lets you use several agencies at once, at the risk of less consistent marketing and a property that looks overexposed.
For the seller
Exclusivity can secure a stronger commitment from the agency; check the duration, the resources promised and the exit terms before signing.
