Cédula de habitabilidad
A certificate attesting that a dwelling is habitable, required in some regions.
The cédula de habitabilidad is an administrative document certifying that a dwelling meets the minimum habitability conditions. It is required in some autonomous communities in order to sell, rent out or connect the utilities.
Whether it is needed and how long it is valid vary by region: some require it, others have replaced it with alternative documents.
For the seller
Depending on your region, you may need to provide a valid cédula in order to sign the sale or to allow the water and electricity to be connected.
