Certificado energético
The energy assessment required to put a property up for sale.
The certificado de eficiencia energética rates the property from A to G according to its consumption. Drawn up by an accredited technician, it is mandatory to publish a listing and to sign the deed of sale; its absence can lead to a fine.
It remains valid for ten years, unless works alter the property's performance.
For the seller
Arrange it as soon as you list the property: it is inexpensive but a blocker if you forget it on signing day.
