LegalAlso: Bare ownership
Nuda propiedad
Ownership of a property without the right to use it, which belongs to the usufructuary.
The nuda propiedad is ownership of a property stripped of the right to use it, that right belonging to the usufructuary. The bare owner recovers full ownership on the death of the usufructuary.
Buying or selling bare ownership is done at a discounted price that reflects the value of the usufruct.
For the seller
You can sell only the bare ownership while keeping the use of the property for the rest of your life, in exchange for a reduced price.
